R.I.P. Madeleine Blaustein 1960-2008

She was a great dubber. She was known for her dub of meowth’s voice of pokemon. Really liked meowth’s voice although I’m no fan of pokemon.

She sadly passed away in her sleep according to this nintendo website they even wanted to make a tribute for her by catching a meowth and naming it Madeleine. I’m gonna miss meowth’s old voice.

PS:To be honest, I often see her name after watching an episode of pokemon (when it was quite popular in our country…about 7 years ago or so) since I was very curious as to who dubbed meowth. I was very surprised back then that femal dubbers can dub male characters. And LOL if there was/is a male dubber who dubbed a woman
