Katy Perry turned 25 years old in style, throwing a “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory“-themed birthday party at Sunset Beach Restaurant in Hollywood on Saturday night, October 24. Her actor boyfriend Russell Brand, and country singers Taylor Swift and Julianne Hough, were among the A-list celebs in attendance. Besides, there were also the likes of JoJo and Perez Hilton.

Guests were required to wear white to the party and they left with neon paint spattered all over them. “They got a little crazy with the paint!” a partygoer told Radar Online. “I wasn’t expecting it but everyone got painted – even Taylor Swift!”

In keeping with the chosen theme, candy and Oompah Loompahs were everywhere and bright colored lights flashed at the entrance. The birthday girl, additionally, donned Oompa-Loompa painted nails. “It was very surreal and very well done. A really great party!” another guest gushed.

On Sunday, October 25, Katy took it to her Twitter to share her feeling about her birthday bash, writing “THAT was MAGIC! I’m SO happy!!!! I am just giggling at random … I think this is how it will be for a while…”

On February 11, the UP Sunken Garden will be the venue for a night of loud and lively music and unparalleled entertainment, as the UP Alpha Sigma Fraternity presents Amplified: The UP Masig Fair Night.  From dusk until the break of dawn, the UP Alpha Sigma Fraternity, in cooperation with Globe Telecom, Dental First, and Pag-Ibig Fund bring to the entire UP Diliman community a night of sound, rhythm and rocking music. This event also marks a milestone for the fraternity, as it hosts its tenth UP Fair night in more than a decade. 

 

The night will feature some of the country’s biggest bands, including Kamikazee, Chicosci, Urbandub, Moonstar 88, Typecast and a host of other great bands that are sure to rock the UP Sunken Garden.  The night will indeed be one to remember, as Parokya Ni Edgar performs exclusively on this night for the entire UP community. Happy New Year!

It’s GMT+8 here so its pretty much 12:05 am of January 1 2009. I want everyone to have a good start of this year. I’m hoping to finish every project given to me last year >_> I’m hoping everyone else is peaceful and happy in this new year’s celebration. 

 

Its pretty much noise, lights, and a whole lot of smoke here done by fireworks, cars, radios, and other noise makers. Its a blast here. I’m happy, I hope you all are. (or will be if its not January 1 yet )

My Alibi series

I was browsing youtube for twilight spoofs (yeah yeah, I know…low blow right? don’t care!) when I came across an old series I wasn’t able to watch due to school stuff suffocating my time for myself. I originally found this show first as my referrer. Then I was reminded of the show I promised myself to continue watching someday when I saw the MA (My Alibi) episode 6 thumbnail. And then I saw the guy who made the MA series possible (which, by the way, is also the uploader of many more hilarious shows and spoofs )

Anyways, the MA series is a work of both art and comedy. Its like the saved by the bell show! The show’s creative plots and storylines never ceases to amaze me. It also has this sexy sensation specially when its the girls’ turn on the camera. All the women their are beautiful and talented…amateur or not. Then I remembered the site take180 which became recently popular due to the juice box’s twilight spoofs

Here’s the My Alibi series’ channel trust me, as a fellow blogger and as a person looking for humor in a busy life, that this series is worth the watch.
