Thank you for everything

What is there to say? I feel remorse. That’s all I’m feeling right now with this news. I opened my browser and Google tells me “Steve Jobs, 1955-2011”.

This is just too sad. He died a few hours before lunchtime today, Thursday, here in the Philippines. He died Wednesday evening back at the US.

Read a little something about Mr. Apple here plus a few pictures while you’re at it.

The entry on Wikipedia (about his death) is written quite well. Give it a read too.

I checked their website and it was a simple message that greeted me. Simplicity was always Steve’s key in hi achievements. He would’ve liked no other way to remember him except thru a simplicity.

Farewell, Steve. Thank you very much for bringing to life your wonderful ideas, thank you for sharing your intellect with the rest of us, and most of all, just thank you for being who you were upto the point of your last breath.

You will always be remembered as one of the most innovative men in history. May you rest in peace.

Anima9 wishes you eternal rest.

UPDATE: The original message that sent millions of people to tears

Steve Jobs’ family today made the following statement regarding his death:

Steve died peacefully today surrounded by his family.

In his public life, Steve was known as a visionary; in his private life, he cherished his family. We are thankful to the many people who have shared their wishes and prayers during the last year of Steve’s illness; a website will be provided for those who wish to offer tributes and memories.

We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve. We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief.
