Stick Your Pinkies Out
Back to Basics: Single Kettlebell Workout with Push-ups
I tried a little something this morning. It went like this:
Tool: 1 x 32kg kettlebell
Workouts: Swings, Goblet squats, Push-ups
Rep per exercise: 5, 10, 15, 20, 15, 10, 5
My idea was to transition from swing to squat to push-up. I’ve done something like this before. The rep per exercise went like this:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2
Total rep per exercise in my old routine: 40 x 3 = 120
Total rep per exercise in my new routine: 80 x 3 = 320

Very simple yet very effective for fat burning and strength building. I’ve done something like this before and made a ladder of 2 to 6 and 6 to 2 for the 3 exercises. I also did a pair with swings and squats and another pair with swings and push ups.
This is one of the most efficient home exercises anyone can do with one tool. I love my kettlebells! š
Sprinting And High-Knee Running: Half Cardio, Half Leg Torture
Today I did something for an extra workout in the afternoon. I usually perform my kettlebell exercises in the morning (today I did 100 double swings with 2 x 24 kg, 5 double squats, and 5 presses per arm) and this afternoon, out of sheer boredom, I decided to burn extra fat. My original plan was to play basketball and maybe try and recapture my old moves. Sadly, after venturing into four basketball courts within the village, everyone else got there first. I started searching at 4:30 PM and gave up at around 5:15 PM. The courts were really far from each other so I started running towards each one. When I finally gave up on playing today, I figured I should run instead.
And I did.
Gym Bullies and How to Deal
Bullying was never a positive word to begin with.
I canāt speak for everybody, but I know that I personally go to the gym to relax.
I try to spend as little time as possible socializing, I turn my phone off, and I just work out.
Yesterday, however, my entire gym calm was disrupted by two middle aged women with a sense of entitlement and a bad attitude.
I was going through a circuit, doing step ups, cable rows, and leg raises. Halfway through my workout, these two women came over and took over the only functional cable stack in the gym. Very politely, I told them that I had been using it and asked if I could work in between their sets.
As this has happened to me before, I was expecting a simple āsure, no problemā, or even a reluctant āwhateverā. Instead, both women got defensive and flat out rude, but finally agreed.Ā
When it came timeā¦
