I am sorry for my #JusticeForKian posts.

At this point, I’m sure the lot of you have grown weary with the barrage of EJK-relate posts surfacing and resurfacing over and over again. You probably feel like hiding or unfollowing people who share posts related or in response to Kian’s unfortunate demise. Even religious institutions had a page of obviously-political-and-biased words to say about that.
Overwhelmed and quite likely annoyed, you have this urge to ask these people to stop posting about it. You know what happened, you’re sorry about it, and you believe anything in excess of being informed and a quick episode of empathy is just making mountains out of molehills.
It’s noise, and you didn’t spend 10 goddamn minutes of your time making a (insert social media) account just to read stuff like that!
After all, the world is full of wonderful things, why spread those about death, grief, and lies? Whatever happened to cute cats and puppies, to trendy memes about your favorite shows, and tumblr blogs that make you type “check this out” in the comments section, and tag a friend or two or twelve to see? Where are my girls and their #ootd pics Whatever happened to that magical unicorn that pooped rainbow ice cream?
Seeing things like that being shared by thousands of people make you feel uncomfortable, and you have every right to feel that way. In fact, I feel for you and I hope you overcome this personal inconvenience soon and emerge triumphant in the end.
