UPDATE: January 2 2011
LOL the text above hasn’t been updated in 2 years xD
For those who are curious: I’m currently food scientist for URC Philippines. I’ve been working since December 1 2010. My previous employer, San Miguel – Magnolia, and I just didn’t agree with each other because of certain things that didn’t quite fit the standards of a “San Miguel” company nor the standards of a standard food company.
Don’t get me wrong; San Miguel Corp. itself is a great company but I’m afraid their attention is focused more on their beverages than their other products, specially the ice cream.
URC is my dream company and I will never quit unless I do something dumb in which I will have to take responsibility for and resign. Please pray I don’t mess everything up LOL
Update: September 5 2014
I’ve resigned from URC due to personal reasons but mainly because I need to grow outside my safezone. URC will always be part of my best and a few bad memories. It’s a great company but I need to challenge myself and to challenge myself, I need to see how far I can go without looking back. I’m with Jollibee Food Corporation working as R&D for Greenwich. I started working just this September 1 2014. It has a whole lot of benefits URC has yet to adapt to and it’s great because the workload doesn’t seem too much or overwhelming.
And no, I didn’t mess everything up although I did play a lot in URC. I’ll miss the company and the people but thank goodness for Facebook and the internet. I’ll be able to keep in touch with all of them.
Here’s to my new grand adventure!
