If you’re wondering what this is about, John Stewart of the Daily Show has officially retired from the show this Thursday which was just 12 or so hours ago from my timezone (it’s 40 past midnight here as I write this, Saturday morning). It saddens me because I only got to watch him back in 2009 and I already missed a lot. I don’t watch TV a lot but I like the way he tells the hard truth in a funny way. I also got to watch Stephen Colbert become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to political satire/comedy.
I’ll miss their tandem so much.
Here’s a video of Stephen’s impromptu goodbye message to Jon. It’s beautiful. #jonvoyage
The best news in gaming today came from Sony. Hands down I saw two games players were waiting to be made for years.
The first one is our beloved Final Fantasy 7. Check out the video below:
I only played this game once but I played it to 100% completion. I ended up producing more than enough materia to beat even EMERALD WEAPON almost effortlessly.
Another exciting game is one of many fans most awaited sequel to the Shadow of the Colossus game, The Last Guardian!
My brother and I would often find ourselves replaying the same game over and over again simply because of the thrill it brings us when we fight big ass giants!
I’m right now considering buying a PS4 despite my promise not to buy another console for a game.
Safe to say, I already am excited for the PS4 and I swear if Square would go back to its Playstation One roots, remaking their old best sellers, I’m seeing a bright future ahead of the RPG world.
Hello. If you’ve read my previous entry a few months back, you’ve already realized I no longer work as a food scientist. It’s been more than two months since I worked in the food industry and to be honest, with all the things that happened to me, I don’t regret quitting.
So what happened in between? Well, I’m now an official freelance writer. I currently work for 4 clients in the U.S.. The good points about this is that I’m now able to work utilizing my passion or writing and the fact that my salary is officially almost 3x that of previous job. The dollar exchange rate makes me happy.
I’m now building my wealth and I’m currently looking for a small business to get some decent passive income on. Nothing too fancy; perhaps a small coffee shop or perhaps a franchise from a popular meat retailer would do for now.
I’ve also been working on my new website! It will focus mainly on fitness and health which would be dominated by my passion for kettlebell training. I hope you guys pay me a visit.
That is all. Thank you!
Hello everyone! As you may have noticed, I’ve not been as active in this blog as before and for good reason. As mentioned in the title, I’ve been busy with a website and it will focus on health, fitness, and maybe a bit of financial blogging here and there.
Also, a little update: I’m no longer affiliated with Jollibee Foods Corporation. The company and I had a few things we didn’t agree on so I decided to move away and focus on being a freelancer (which earns me a lot more money) and a chance to build on my website.
I’ll be stealing a few blogs from this place for content’s sake. The purpose of that website is to earn me some passive income. I’m thankful I’m the author so I don’t need to ask for anyone’s permission 😀
So yeah, here’s the website in case you want to visit!
If you woke up tomorrow, and your internet looked like this, what would you do? Imagine all your favorite websites taking forever to load, while you get annoying notifications from your ISP suggesting you switch to one of their approved “Fast Lane” sites.Think about what we would lose: all the weird, alternative, interesting, and enlightening stuff that makes the Internet so much cooler than mainstream Cable TV. What if the only news sites you could reliably connect to were the ones that had deals with companies like Comcast and Verizon? On September 10th, just a few days before the FCC’s comment deadline, public interest organizations are issuing an open, international call for websites and internet users to unite for an “Internet Slowdown” to show the world what the web would be like if Team Cable gets their way and trashes net neutrality. Net neutrality is hard to explain, so our hope is that this action will help SHOW the world what’s really at stake if we lose the open Internet. If you’ve got a website, blog or tumblr, get the code to join the #InternetSlowdown here: https://battleforthenet.com/sept10thEveryone else, here’s a quick list of things you can do to help spread the word about the slowdown: http://tumblr.fightforthefuture.org/post/96020972118/be-a-part-of-the-great-internet-slowdown Get creative! Don’t let us tell you what to do. See you on the net September 10th!

Yesterday, I was doing my 100 kettlebell front squat training weighted at 48 kg. On my 7th cycle, though, I felt a very strong pain on my lower back. I’m guessing it was from the rough double swing I did since I was heaving my breath already halfway through. Needless to say, I had to stop, rest, and assess. I ended up feeling the pain when I bend down but not when I walk or run up the stairs. I had something similar to this before but it was from my arrogance of double swinging 2 x 32 kg kettlebells, jumping from 2 x 16 kg. That was a very bad muscle injury and my movements were very, very limited. The one I have now is also a muscle injury but thankfully it’s not so bad. I guess my back got stronger since then (about 9 months ago) and I didn’t overdo myself this time; I simply messed up the form on the catch when I “cleaned” it.
