The 9th Soul

And She’s Gone.

How much more will I have to lose, before my heart is forgiven?
How many more pain will I have to suffer, to meet you once again?

If a miracle were to happen, I would want to show you immediately
A new morning, who I’ll be from now on
And the words I never said called: “I Love You.”

If our lives could be restarted,
No matter how many times it will be I will go back to you
What I would wanted then would then be nothing
Nothing but just you.

I walked home today. It was a surprise activity even for myself. I found out how it would take me around 1.5 hours to get home from work using the shortest route. I also found out how I would end up talking to myself on how much stupid my life has become.

Today, the only reason for my not quitting work has left the office for good. I didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye. Hell, I couldn’t even do so much as talk to her. It’s been almost 2 years since we last spoke to one another and I’ve been trying so damn hard to look at other women but I couldn’t. The silence between us always bothered me and it would frustrate me to a point where I’d need to distract myself by talking or making jokes and doing crazy things. Now she’s finally had it with the company and as much as I want to admit that I could live normally without her, I can’t.

I simply can’t. It’s just not that easy.

Friendster to shut down on May 31st

Goodbye Friendster

Got this all from here

… it looks like Friendster won’t be so much about sharing with friends anymore. In a message to registered members (hat tip to @Mazi), the company is asking all users to install a custom application to export all their profile data, as most of it will be unequivocally deleted on May 31, 2011.

Farewell kawai5210, you lived and passed while others just existed and vanished

I haven’t logged in Pex all day and this is the news I get. I made a blog about him recently to spread his positive outlook despite his unfortunate circumstance.

Their friend got a message from misty which provided the unfortunate news

Misty texted me again:

April 8, 2010

3:43 pm

“________(Kawai)’s no longer with us….”

Kawai already passed away this afternoon.

I am gonna try to call Misty. This is a very sad day.

MTV Philippines End with “Video Killed the Radio Star”

Posted in entertainment, life, Special posts, youtube shows by Fated Blue on February 16, 2010

In lieu with the recent passing of MTV Philippines, I watched it all the way ’til this song entitled “Video Killed the Radio Star” played as the last song in their playlist.

After that was a long black screen of nothingness.

It wasn’t really special and all…supposedly.

If you’ve been keeping tabs on how bloggers responded to MTV Philippines’ demise, this tumblr blogger unknowingly gave whoever was in control of this twitter account the idea of the last song to be played.

Farewell MTV Philippines. I cannot anymore add anything to say to you after thousands upon thousands of people have already said their own personal piece. I can only offer this little space in my blog in your remembrance.

Thank you for all the good days and nights. Thank you for Ramon Bautista specially. Also to Sarah Meier and KC Montero.

See you in the future!

PS: Prior to the last video, Semisonic’s “Closing time” became the penultimate song of MTV Philippines. To the ordinary watcher they just seemed to be random songs. But to fans like us, they give meaning and emotion on a very subtle, humble, and very passionate goodbye.

Goodbye MTV Philippines. Welcome Back MTV Asia!

MTV Philippines has been displaying this ticker since yesterday:
“This channel (MTV Philippines) will cease airing starting Feb 16, 2010. Further updates to be announced at a later date”

The network’s official twitter account confirmed the news yesterday:

From this forum

MTV Philippines will close because Francis Lumen, the president of AYC decided not to renew the license for MTV Philippines.

There were also some posts saying that instead of funding for MTV Philippines, they will support TV5 instead which they plan to be the next big thing on TV.

The closure is in effect nationwide and regardless of pay-tv company.

Well…I’ll miss seeing Andi9 on TV. I hope they still manage to be on TV despite this loss. I’ll watch out ’til 12 midnight tonight.

I will miss Jay Leno…

After probably 7 years of watching reruns and live episodes of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, I gotta say, the guy made my night tv time a good laugh. Full of memories that are ALWAYS funny. Never a dull moment whenever I watch his show. I’m quite sad at this, really sad. I’m not even American. I found this article regarding Jay Leno’s last show today (tonight for US, I’m in the Philippines). miss you Jay!

I''ll miss you Jay!

Jay Leno bids farewell to “Tonight Show”

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Jay Leno bid farewell to “The Tonight Show” on Friday, ending his 17-year run as host with a finale that stayed true to the style that made him the top-rated performer on U.S. late-night television.

The main difference was a long ovation that Leno struggled to quiet as he took the stage for an opening monologue that poked fun, as usual, at politicians, celebrities and current events.

He thanked the likes of pop star Michael Jackson and former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, whose affair with Bill Clinton led to the former U.S. president’s impeachment, for giving him material over the years. He also took a final jab at his network, NBC, which is mired at the bottom of the ratings among the four major U.S. broadcasters.

Leno takes his act to 10 p.m. on NBC this autumn, where he will mount a program expected to be similar to the “Tonight Show” but attract a wider audience than the roughly 5 million viewers, on average, who tune in nightly to the broadcast.

“I’m going to be going to a secluded spot where no one can find me — NBC prime time,” Leno said. “It’s a gamble. I’m betting NBC will still be around in three months, but that’s not a given.”

He joked that he had finally cleaned out his office and “found O.J.’s knife. I had it the whole time,” referring to former football star O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted on charges he murdered his wife in the mid-1990s.

Leno even introduced a new segment, “White Trash Theater,” which showed a video clip of a woman throwing a trash can at a man to get him off her porch.

Throughout the opening, Leno betrayed no special sentiment — no tears or even a choked-up voice. Indeed, he proved the consummate comedian by putting on a show that made people laugh. Guests included Conan O’Brien, who will take over as host of the “Tonight Show” on Monday, and singer James Taylor.

Leno, 59, took the reins of the venerable program in May 1992 from late-night television legend Johnny Carson.

After initially struggling in the ratings against late-night counterpart David Letterman, who had been his rival for the “Tonight Show” job, Leno grabbed the lead in viewership about 13 years ago and become a mainstay of American TV.

He has taken jabs at four presidents, from George H.W. Bush to Barack Obama, who in March became the first sitting U.S. chief executive to appear on a late-night talk show. He made audiences laugh through an era that included natural disasters, wars and the September 11 attacks.

Notable moments included Arnold Schwarzenegger’s announcement of his candidacy for California governor in 2003 and British actor Hugh Grant’s first public appearance after being arrested with a Los Angeles prostitute in 1995.

Leno’s comic segments such as “Jaywalking,” in which he joked with everyday people on the street, became popular staples.

On a side note, when will Letterman leave >_> he isn’t even funny anymore. He lost it. COMPLETELY
