The title says it all. I’m listening to Lucius’ “Don’t Just Sit There” and ugh, it just makes me feel…things. You know, the kind of things you don’t really feel or even think about but this song just unearths it like some mad archaeologist in the deepest, darkest burial grounds in my brain.
What did it unearth? A question. It unearthed a question and that question is: Will I ever find love again?
Les Miserables Manila is definitely worth the price and traffic. The effects and props are what you would expect from an international performance group. I love this novel and I would definitely watch it again and again and again. I’ve been wanting to watch it since I read the unabridged book some 10 or so years ago as well as watch the film four years back. The story still drives me to a sort of lonely guilt that I just love feeling.
I purchased the tickets without knowing who the heck played who because this was the first time Les Mis would be in the Philippines. I booked VIP on opening day and chose the best seat in the house which was right in the center without being too close or too far; just right to see, hear, and even feel everything.
It was drizzling atop the mountain
Where God stood to greet himself.
I was praying for success and happiness,
For patience and strength.
No prayers for you yet you were there.
Drenched, fatigued, and with muddy, muddy shoes. (more…)
“You’re in love with her, aren’t you?”
“When you were talking to her at the other table, I saw the way you looked, no, stared at her.
You don’t look at me that way and for the longest time I’ve always wondered if there was something missing, something I haven’t done but now I know.
Those eyes…those eyes are really for someone else.” (more…)
Hello. If you’ve read my previous entry a few months back, you’ve already realized I no longer work as a food scientist. It’s been more than two months since I worked in the food industry and to be honest, with all the things that happened to me, I don’t regret quitting.
So what happened in between? Well, I’m now an official freelance writer. I currently work for 4 clients in the U.S.. The good points about this is that I’m now able to work utilizing my passion or writing and the fact that my salary is officially almost 3x that of previous job. The dollar exchange rate makes me happy.
I’m now building my wealth and I’m currently looking for a small business to get some decent passive income on. Nothing too fancy; perhaps a small coffee shop or perhaps a franchise from a popular meat retailer would do for now.
I’ve also been working on my new website! It will focus mainly on fitness and health which would be dominated by my passion for kettlebell training. I hope you guys pay me a visit.
That is all. Thank you!
In an attempt to focus my workout into something basic yet essential, I’ve decided to modify my first workout program. This is what I may consider as an upgraded version if we’re to treat the first program as an overall basic workout routine.
I’ve been experimenting since January started and I’ve come up with a routine that’s guaranteed to give you the best bang for your bell without stressing yourself about doing them for a week.
The same schedule format will apply: 5 to 6 days a week, 20 minutes minimum on the clock.
Mind you, this revolves mostly around Hardstyle movements which means maximal effort in less repetitions. I’m fond of utilizing both GS and Hardstyle but I somehow always gravitate towards Hardstyle due to the maximal effort exerted in a short period of time.
Because let’s face it, 20 minutes isn’t that long. But if utilized efficiently, 20 minutes is more than enough.
For this program, you’ll need at least a pair of heavy KBs and one lighter bell. In my case, I use a pair of 32 kg and one 24 kg. The 24 kg is for the warm up while one or two 32 kg KBs will be used for the main workout.
Happy New Year Everyone! One of my personal traditions involve welcoming the new year with a run. I always run first thing in the morning and due to this I have to sleep extra early. I’ve been skipping the new year midnight for four years now and I don’t mind at all.
You can find my running details here
